Event Experiential Knowledge and Experiential Learning in Higher Education

We nodigen je uit voor een driedaags internationaal evenement over leren van en werken met ervaringskennis in de opleidingen Social Work en Verpleegkunde.

9 oktober kun je deelnemen aan internationale workshops. 
10 oktober is een conferentie met keynotes en leersessies. Bini Araia uit Engeland zal delen hoe hij samenwerkt met asielzoekende kinderen en ouders, studenten en sociaal werkers en hun ervaringskennis centraal stelt; Alie Weerman (Lectoraat GGZ & Samenleving) vertelt over haar ervaringen op hogeschool Windesheim met het implementeren van ervaringskennis in het onderwijs sociaal werk; en het Partnership Experiential Knowledge (PEK) (o.a. Jean Pierre Wilken, Sascha van Gijzel, Rosalie Metze) zal de resultaten van het project presenteren.
Op 11 oktober kun je deelnemen aan de PEPPER conferentie. 

Je kunt één, twee of alle dagen van het evenement bijwonen.

Zorgprofessionals, regiebehandelaars, cliënten, ervaringsdeskundigen, managers, naastbetrokkenen en studenten.

We invite you to a three-day international event on learning from and working with experiential knowledge both in social work and nursing education and in practice.

On day 1 you can participate in international workshops and a work visit. Day 2 is a conference with keynotes and learning sessions. On day 3 you can join the international part of the PEPPER conference. You can attend one, two or all days of the event. The workshops and conference are hosted by Windesheim University of Applied Sciences and partnership Experiential Knowledge.

The focus of the events is how we can integrate experiential knowledge in higher education. The international workshops (day 1) give examples on various levels on how this can take shape. In the three keynotes (day 2), the following themes will be discussed: Bini Araia will share how they work together with asylum seeking children and parents, social works students and practitioners; Alie Weerman will talk about her experiences at Windesheim University of Applied Sciences with implementing experiential knowledge in social work education; and the Partnership Experiential Knowledge will present the results of the project.

For who?

The events are for everyone that is interested in the theme, this can be personal of professional. For example, social workers, nurses, teachers, students, researcher and staff.
